Epilogue is the final movement of my latest piece, ‘The Brothers Karamazov.’ A short, quiet piece for solo violin (or viola) and voice, exploring extended technique that moves away entirely from the strings of the instrument.
Epilogue will be broadcast on Resonance Extra on 28 February 2017, 18:30 on Jack Chuter’s ATTN:Magazine show as part of an interview with Phil Maguire discussing his new digital label Verz Imprint, along with other works created by artists interested in lowercase, quiet and close-listening music.
